Pure bred Herdwick ram

Superb Herdwick ram. Reluctant sale but we need to change our ram for next season. 2 years with ewes, siring strong healthy lambs including multiple twin ewe lambs. Both years he put all ewes in lamb. Never lame, great non aggressive temperament, easy handle. This year’s lambs by him will be certified organic, last year’s lambs were year 2 in conversion. Organic certified farm (he was not born organic but can be purchased as organic breeding stock with derogation). Also available three of his hogget rams born April 2024 and seen in background of photos with the large black sheep. Two horned rams, one polled. €300 each. Third last photo is of his ewe lambs (not for sale). Herdwicks make excellent crosses, being hardy, highly parasite resistant, low input sheep that rarely have foot issues. Price negotiable.
