Antique vintage Orpheum No 1 Tenor Banjo

Orpheum No 1 Tenor Banjo in great condition. 1917 vintage. Rare model with the 12 inch maple rim. Made by lange and Rettberg , new York 1917. The Orpheum and paramount were made by ll.lange and were two of the most popular tenor banjos of the era, with good reason. They are superb banjos. The Orpheum number 1 came as an open back originally. This one has a back that was added on later which comes with the banjo and can be left off or used. It does change the tone when on, but I prefer it open back, as it is meant to be. All original parts except the head, bridge and string's as would be expected.
