Tenor Banjo Slingerland (Maybell-31) early 1920s

Tenor Banjo Slingerland (Maybell) early 1920s. Short scale (17 fret) and I am told made by W. Lange company but not sure how to confirm it. Just back from Clareen banjo with new head, strings, tail piece and tuners.. A 1920's banjo with a 2024 face lift. Really tidy banjo and while the case is sturdy it is worn and has a block taken out of the end of it. Maybe someone needed a bigger banjo but given that it is a Chicago banjo it wouldn’t be out of place in Jimmy Cagney gangster movie.
