Star Wars R2D2 Life Size

Original R2D2 droid handmade by Andrew Ainsworth in London. Ainsworth created the first models for George Lucas in the original Star Wars movie, production funds were low and Ainsworth struck a deal with Lucas to accept the reproduction rights for the various figurine and models he created for Lucas in exchange for payment. The certificate of authenticity shows this to be only the 26th reproduction model made by Ainsworth studio and is a true Star Wars collectors item. Reluctant sale but children now grown up but would make an ideal addition to any kids room . This model has had the ‘ battle scarred ‘ finish applied from its time seated in the X Wing fighter .
