1964 Fordson Super Dexta Tractor

1964 Fordson Super Dexta Tractor This tractor has been owned by uncle for over 50 years. He has now retired. The tractor, parts and components with the manufacturers dating codes have been inspected by the Ford & Fordson Association and I have a letter confirming this tractor and its parts are original and were manufactured at the Ford factory at Dagenham in Essex in 1964. (1964 was the last year that Super Dexters were made) The tractor has a current V5C registration document. The Super Dexta has been dry stored in a shed for the last 30 years. It was driven in there and the radiator was drained. The radiator filled up with water/antifreeze. The fuel tank has been cleaned and new diesel and filter put in. Oil and oil filters changed. The wiring needs renewed. A new wiring loom, made to the original Super Dexta specifications was bought and comes with the tractor. (Wiring is not my specialty) The engine is not seized and turns if the tractor is put in gear. These tractors were known for a crack in the block. This tractor was previously welded, (the repair welding worked). This is a nice tractor ready for restoration and it comes with an original top link. The price is £2250 or nearest offer.
