Hi folks i have just completed this overlander off grid camping trailer, this is my 8th build as i normally build mercedes sprinters , and ford customs, so decided on doing a trailer build this time , with the indespension trailer as it has aluminium sides with a full galvanised chassis, so there will be no problems with rust or rot, it has been stripped back and fully wired and insulated , with reflectics 15mm closed cell foam , and sound deadening mats, covered in 50mm foam insulation, all wooden sheets are made here in ireland, (not the chinese stuff that soo many builds are made from) i used the Emerald 18mm on floor , 12mm in sides, 9mm on ceiling, and then every piece of metal foil taped and insulated, On board is 3 sockets, 4x C charge sockets, and 4x usb sockets, Bentley style grey leather stitched door cards, 300 watt powerful solar on roof Compressor Fridge / Freezer, Gas 2 ring and toaster, Toilet Single or Double bed Fold down bed Loads of storage under bed Proximity alarm security lights front and back Inside ambient mood lighting all remote control, Roof hatch is one of the widest you can buy 700mm wide and fully insulated with mesh and privacy curtain, its class for looking up into the night sky as its directly over the bed and fully opens up for the summer weather, Side windows are the same they are tempured glass and have mesh and 15mm insulated covers, It does not take much to heat this trailer as it retains the heat very well and is designed to be cool in summer , so requires little energy to heat !! Floor is fitted with heavy duty hardwood emerald ply for motorbikes or quads and has tie down points, Rhino anti slip flooring (all new) The internal dimensions are The TAV4H is a braked 8’4½” x 4’10¼“ x 6’ internal .
