Leaving Cert German Grinds

German grinds for Leaving Certificate students. Grinds given on Zoom for convenience. €40/hour. Grinds available immediately. What I offer: Detailed, unique, personalised notes for every topic on the German course. Helpful grammar explanations for all topics in the Grammar Section of the Leaving Cert exam. Advice and practice for all sections of the exam - including practice orals nearer to the oral examination. I assign and correct homework each week, but I'm happy to correct any additional work or focus on any additional issues a student may have. I recommend one grind a week, but students can always contact me via text or email if any questions arise or if they wish to arrange an additional session around Christmas, mock or oral exams. I am also available to teach German as an extra subject for students who do not have a foreign language in their normal school timetable but require this for university matriculation; or for those with an interest in the language. About me: I am certified by the Goethe-Institut. I have reached a C2 level of fluency in German (the highest attainable by non-native speakers). I have experience giving grinds at both Junior and Leaving Cert levels and I know the course content intimately. I achieved 8 H1s in my Leaving Cert, including a H1 in German. I was rewarded by the European Commission for my translation of an official EU document from German to English. I was the winner of the 2017 Goethe-Institut All-Ireland German Debating Competition. I achieved an A at Junior Cert higher level and was awarded a scholarship to Germany for achieving one of the highest results in this exam. I am passionate about the German language, I have lived in Berlin and have spent other extended periods in Germany and Switzerland, interacting with native German speakers.
