Triumph TRW 1964

1964 Triumph TRW Mk3 500cc SV Beautiful totally original ex British Army 9th/12th Lancers Armored Division escort bike. Fully serviced, all oils changed, and ready to ride. Genuine mileage. Comes with some Army history and previous UK owner history, Tax disc/MOT's etc, MOD handbook & workshop manual. I have it in single seat configuration as I think it looks better but does come with its original pannier frame, original military canvas bags and pillion seat. (All items very collectible too and very hard to find) Bike needs nothing, its Customs cleared, Irish registered and ready to ride. I bought this bike on the UK at the H&H classic auctions in the National Motorcycle museum in Birmingham as a recommissioning project and looking to do the same again. It was restored by a previous owner in 1984 and I have sympathetically restored and recommissioned it to keep its patina which the old girl wears well given she is 60 years old. It is a MK3 TRW so has a 12v alternator system, has a Boyer power box electronic ignition unit fitted and along with a new Amal carb its now a first/second kick starter (most of the time...) which is great. Even from cold or from sitting for a couple of months. It's a head turner and attracts attention everywhere I go on it. It's light and easy to ride. Runs all day long with not a problem. A genuine machine. (I have a video of it running which I can send via WhatsApp upon request) I'll be sorry to see it go but I would love this bike to go to a real enthusiast who I know would enjoy and appreciates what it is so wont be selling it unless the price is right. I would rather keep it as part of a collection than let it go at a loss.
