1953 Riley RMF

I have for sale my Riley which requires further work to complete -- it is a 1953 Matching Numbers Riley RMF 2.5 4 door saloon, RMB2 engine , Green over Black Car with a body in good condition, chassis very good with no work required, Timber framing with no rot, black covered vinyl roof with a sparce scattering of tiny raised areas otherwise the vinyl is in very good condition. Work done using parts from the Riley RM Club Stores. Engine removed, stripped, cleaned, con rods machined for new replacement Bedford big end shells, crank shaft machined to suit shell bearings, crank plugs removed and internally cleaned, engine reassembled with new pistons and new rings. Mains are white metal -- they have been dimensionally checked and found to require no work. Head overhauled, valve seats ground in and polished and new valve springs fitted. Engine reassembled with new seals and necessary all new small parts. Clutch and Clutch Plate are as new Engine and gearbox reassembled refitted to car with new engine mounts. Engine running and starting on Button Radiator re cored Front suspension re bushed Rear spring bushes replaced New front Shock Absorbers New rear Shock Absorbers New wheel cylinders all around New refurbished and stainless sleeved brake master cylinder. New Brake pipes New fuel pipe New Fuel pump Wiring sorted. Dynamo overhauled Starter Motor over hauled. Small parts fitted Under body and various areas ,scrapped, wire brushed and painted black. Work requirement to complete -- Some minor welding repair about front windows, rear number plate section and rhs boot floor -- head cloth, doors, cards and dash area, External -- prep and paint. Back exhaust flexi Rear Bumper rqd.
