**Price Drop - €7450 down to €6950** For Sale - 1984 Mercedes Benz W123 230e NCT valid until 01/26 Exempt from future tests as it is over 40 years old 118000 miles It has the sought after 2.3, 4 cylinder petrol engine 4 speed automatic gearbox Power steering Just 400 miles ago, the engine had a full service including changing all oil and filters in engine, gearbox and steering. Door rubbers replaced. Great quality tyres with lots of thread left. 3000 miles ago, the suspension was removed and rebuilt.The undercarriage was sand-blasted, any areas of rust were cut out and welded, then repainted and resealed. Floors, sills and bulk head are solid. A new exhaust system was installed before we bought it 10 years ago. The body panels are in good condition. There is a rust patch on the bottom of one door which will need attention at some stage and a couple of other minor cosmetic spots, but nothing serious. The interior is in really good condtion. The seats, carpets, roof lining are very clean. There is an electric sunroof - not working. The car is driving beautifully and reliably. Both the engine and gearbox are smooth and responsive. It is a pleasure to drive. It is getting increasingly difficult to source a good example of a W123. This car is in great all around condition with a huge amount of work completed, there are just some minor jobs required. We enjoyed our 10 years of ownership, but I have to buy a manual car for my daughter to learn to drive in, so unfortunately the time has come to let our W123 go to a new home.
