1990 BMW 325i Motor Sport M Tech 2 Cabriolet

This is a very special 1990 BMW 325i Motor Sport Edition, M Tech II Sport Convertible. It is one of only 150 produced in 1990 and most importantly it has manual transmission (most were automatic). Mechanically and cosmetically, this has to be one of the very best available. The service history shows it was maintained by BMW main dealers until 2006. It was then purchased by a BMW E30 expert, who ran the E30 section of the BMW car club in the UK for many years and also ran a race car company. It received a bare metal restoration in 2017 – 2019. More recently in 2023, the car has had a major service at AutoTech Independent BMW at a cost of almost £5000, including new cambelt / clutch / suspension etc. This is the later, M Tech II, finished in Macau Blue with Motorsport Tex (Bubble) sports leather. On these special edition cars, the leather is extended to the door cards, centre console etc. Inside, the interior is again in excellent condition. There is a minor repair on the driver’s seat and normal age related wear. The dashboard is crack free and the doorcards carpet and switches and trim are in great condition. The BMW BBS Motorsport alloys (The painted centres unique to this model) are all in excellent condition with new tyres fitted These are very collectable cars and rarely come up for sale.
