92 Toyota Carina XLi

1992 Toyota Carina E XLi 1600 petrol, manual, brown book, two keys, NCT 01/25 Tax 03/25, 186k belt was done at 150k drives well for the year, it’s a 32 year old car so there’s some issues that need attention (if your fussy) Not so great bits; Body work is straight, no rust, however there is lacquer peeling on the bonnet, small dent on the nearside rear door above the handle and there’s been a half arsed touch up paint job above the nearside rear lamp, occasionally the idle will hunt when cold, there’s a seam on the rear seat that has split (about 3 inches) the backlight on the binnacle doesn’t illuminate, also there’s a heat shield in the exhaust making a rattle and there a small blow from the manifold (secondhand manifold in the boot waiting to be fitted) all the above have been like this the last three years of my ownership. Good bits; Drives well, new clutch last year with gear linkages, interior is like new (aside from the aforementioned seam) was serviced a few months back, good tyres all round, part service history and the books are here, starts every time, new front shocks, springs, droplinks, droplink bushes, top shock mounts in the boot to go with the car.
