Austin Cambridge 1957

This is a very good example of the Austin A40 Cambridge which is now quite rare, especially in this condition. The car was restored a few years ago before I bought it and it still looks as good as it did then. The bodywork is sound and straight with no rust visible on top or underneath. The bumpers are like new and the hub caps are in very good condition also. The extra driving lamps are also working. The tyres are excellent. Internally, the upholstery is red leather and the seats are in very good condition as are the door cards and head cloth.) The engine came from a later A55 and is 1500cc rather than the original 1200cc, and the performance is noticeable. It also benefits from electronic ignition. Since the car is more than 40yrs old it is MOT exempt and the road tax is £zero. Because the car is an original N.I. car, it means that the VRT to import into the Republic of Ireland is a low rate.
