Austin champ.1953 genuine British army 1/4 ton 4x4 underwater combat truck.rolls royce powered b40 2.8 petrol engine.xframe chassis double wishbone suspension with adjustable tousion bars 5 forward gears and 5 reverse gears including a crawling gear 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive with diff lock this was Britain's willis jeep but was overengineed and expensive to produce and was replaced by the cheaper land rover. They are hard to get in this condition it drives perfect and is very smooth on the road and exceptionally good off road. fitted with machine gun mount.and it has the original canvas cover. It is nct exempt.And it featured in issue 115 dec 2015 of irish vintage magazine. All original.saw service in the seuz crisis. Been well maintained looking for a new owner for this piece of history.
