Visitors can also explore the cathedral’s interior, where a collection of fascinating transport related exhibits will be on display. Founded 855 years ago, St. Mary's Cathedral is the oldest building in Limerick still in continuous use. The Cathedral's central location places visitors just a short stroll away from Limerick’s vibrant shops, cafés, and famous attractions like the Hunt Museum and King John’s Castle. The event is held in partnership with the Irish Motor Racing Club (IMRC), the organisers behind the legendary Limerick Grand Prix races of the 1930s.
