Mercedes S280 W126 S Class 1982 Sedan

Mercedes S class 1982 W126 Chassis. This is a very straight honest car. Not a concours specimen but a turn key usable classic Mercedes that won’t break the bank. Silver with Blue cloth interior. Sparse with frills and toys the W126 which began life in 1979 was a luxuary sedan that drove 5 occupants safely and securely in a very spacious cabin. The 126 was best know for its reliability and would go anywhere. This example is a 280 which is the smaller of the power plant and used its lots of other models has proved to be the most reliable. The car has a sunroof , electric windows, 8 hole alloys and Bur walnut to the finish. For 43 years old this old girl is driving lovely. Gear change is good and the engine runs very smooth. The bad points. The car is pretty solid but has a little bit of corrosion on the quarter panels where the bumper is attached. The electric roof is not working and two of the electric windows are intermittent. Over all it’s a very good car and if interested in buying a classic Mercedes it would be a great starter.
