Mercedes SL 300 24V 1992

The time has come to sell my fantastic Sl, It was first registered on the 24th of April 1992, Car was ordered in Artic white with Blue interior, the cloth check seats were a special order and a cost option over the standard leather, options fitted are cruise control, electric seats, ew, em, heated seats, headlight wash/wipers. I purchased from Lawton Prestige Classic in Berkshire in 2018. SL was inspected by a professional prior to purchase, inspector was very impressed with condition and originality. It had 44K on the clock, over the 7 years I have owned the SL I added another 4k, the mileage is now 48,800. I drove mostly in the summertime on fair weather days with the top down, some occasional winter drives with hardtop fitted. The Sl comes with a folder full of history, every MOT Cert/NCT cert, along with various Invoices for work carried out over the years. NCT expires Sept '26 During my ownership the car has been looked after with no expense spared, recent work includes, new hood, new gaskets ( to remedy a slight oil leak ) service, coolant flush and refill, all new brake discs and pads, Belt tensioner and adjuster, Cruise control Module ( all work carried out by Prestige Classics in Wicklow) New headliner fitted to hard top. Corrosion free underneath and body is also corrosion free. Air Conditioning is not functioning, never got around to getting it sorted. Being a convertible its not a function that I have missed. Car has always been garaged since I have owned it and I would guess it was garaged by previous owners judging by the condition. The original radio is present should the new owner wish to re-install, the current radio has hands free phone connection and bluetooth audio streaming. Two keys, Original tool kit, Original first aid kit, tax 04/26. Runs and drives brilliantly, it has been a great classic to own. I have bought another classic car hence I'm selling my SL.
