Porsche 928 Manual - Driving Project.

Here at JW CLASSICS, we have an extremely hard to find 1980 manual 928, with Porsche's psychedelic and sought-after Pasha interior. The car has been substantially recommissioned over the past two years in excess of €12000. The car is taxed 'till the end of February 2026 (€56/annum) and NCT exempt. Currently sits on genuine staggered set of 17" 993 Cup wheels fitted with brand new matching 2023 Kumho Ventus tires. New t/belt kit & w/p, new clutch master cylinder, fuel pump, spark plugs and leads, water hoses, all fluids and belts, and countless other things were either replaced or rebuilt. New brake dust shields, discs, pads. The callipers were fully rebuilt, powder coated, and brake lines replaced. Just back from a 120km road test and was surprisingly impressive. No oil or water leaks, no overheating issues. No knocks, bangs, or rattles. The electric windows, electric mirrors, electric moonroof, and electric seats are all working as they should. Even the cruise control! The space saver wheel has been refurbished along with the wiper motors, The exhaust is intact. There are many recently restored and galvanised/plated but not fitted parts to go with the car. The Negatives: Thanks to the galvanised chassis, the alloy doors, front wings, and bonnet have no major rust issues, but sills do need minor attention. The lacquer has peeled and the car requires a respray. Clutch pressure plate needs to be replaced due to vibration while take off in 1st and 2nd gear. (No vibration issues over 1500-2000rpm) It is a bit lumpy on low revs. And a Fuel accumulator will need to be replaced. No previous history and only one key. To finalise, this is a rare opportunity to the next custodian to bring her to the next level by acquiring a fully roadworthy rare manual V8 with dog leg manual gearbox, Pasha interior, a 50-50 weight distribution transaxle and the only sports-car that ever won the prestigious Car of the Year Award back in 1978.
