After a 4 year intensive restoration my pristine XKE is ready for its new owner to enjoy and show . It spent much of its life in a domestic garage in Liverpool hence the extreme low mileage of 19,900 only . It has undergone a nut and bolt restoration with the sills and arches replaced ( documented ) a bare metal respray in its correct “ Old English White “ colour as per the heritage certificate. Every mechanical part of this car has been either restored , refurbished or replaced . The engine was brought back into life and thoroughly checked with great oil pressure and no issues . The gearbox was also refurbished along with the rear axle & front subframe. Below are a list of the new parts purchased for the car since the restoration commenced . All chrome redone by Ashfford chroming ( £7k cost ) New wheels & spinners ( €3400) Complete new interior at a cost of €15k . It has a world class finish ! New windscreen , rubbers , radiator , fans , cooling tubes , brakes , door handles & locks , fuel tank & lines , So many small items purchased also with a folder of history and receipts . The wiring loom was thoroughly checked by an Auto electrician. Probably one of the best restored E types on the market and certainly not to be compared with cheaper tired examples .
