Description

Im selling my Massey 35 dual clutch. Firstly it all works perfectly. Used it for bringing home the turf this summer. I’ve owned it 2 years and bought it off my neighbour who owned it for 21years. Like all old things stuff needed to be replaced so here a few thing I have done to it: - Obviously like all good DIY mechanics All Oil/Fuel/Air filters were replaced first. - Oil filter head was replaced with new spin-on type to make it easier to service. - Replaced the old Airbox as old one was rusted and completely bunged up - New diesel lift pump and seals replaced. Still have the old one and it still works. - Replaced the front lower pulley seal and timing cover seal. - New Oil pressure/tachometer/Water temp gauges installed. Old ones were broken. - Valves, tappets and clearances checked. New cork rocker cover gasket fitted. - Replaced PTO seal and fitted a PTO guard for protection of the splines. - New waterpump housing and thermostat replaced. - Fixed the ignition switch wiring, cleaned up the connections and fitted new battery. - New QTP mudguards and wide side steps fitted after removing the old rusty cab. - All brand new backend gear- New lift arms, levelling box arms, stabilising bar pins and check chains. Now for the bad bits: - There is no logbook present but It does have a Reg. I believe its not hard to get the logbook, just not something i needed for this little tractor. - The tractor has cracked block repaired and its been like that more than 23years without issue. so if thats an issue for you, this ain't your kind of tractor! - The crankshaft seal on the clutch side is started to leak, its only a small amount noticible after driving it on or running at higher revs for a while, but on idle or tickover it doesnt seem to leak. I've decided to sell the tractor as i have my eye on another little tractor and want to free up my money to buy the next project. If your truely interested I'll include the twin wheels if your nice to me - free of charge!
