Art Deco 10ct Tanzanite Solitaire Ring - Platinum

For sale is a fabulous tanzanite ring set in an art deco platinum mount from the 1930s. This is a ring that has it all if you are a tanzanite fan. This is an art deco platinum ring from the 1930s that at some point in its history from 1970 on has had the stone replaced with a fabulous cabochon cut tanzanite gemstone weighing approx. 10ct. We get asked for antique tanzanite rings every so often and they do not exist. the reason why is because tanzanite was only discovered in the late 1960s and marketed and sold by the likes of Tiffany from the 70s onwards, so you will never find an original art deco tanzanite ring. This however is a match made in heaven. The original, all platinum ring was made around the 1930s and is pure art deco in design. The claws are one of my all time favourites with the claw/talon like setting holding the beautiful blue rounded stone. The ring is fully hallmarked platinum and the finger size is a Q and can easily be re-sized up or down to suit any finger. The tanzanite is the December birthstone so just in time for Christmas. It is also the 24th wedding anniversary stone. This is a stunning designed ring with the most beautiful and mesmerising stones to complement it.
