Bought 2 cars from Frank Keane. Found out a day after purchasing one of them that it had been crashed which they didn't tell us. An independent mechanic picked it up straight away. The car has lots of issues that should be fixed under the approved used cars standard they pretend to abide by but they are simply ignoring our requests to actually book it in for the repairs. The other car which I bought years ago is on a recall list and they are even ignoring that which is simply dangerous. I rang and was told someone would be in touch to book it in but never heard back which was 2 weeks ago. We bought from what we thought was a reputable dealer on purpose and were willing to pay a premium for that assurance. No dealer could actually have been worse than the experience we have had. Selling a crashed car (they knew was crashed as it transpired the repair had gone through them) and not disclosing that to the customer is illegal Across the EU and yet they haven't had the wherewithall to resolve the issue. They make offers (like the one to fix the car) in writing but then when we try to action it, book the car in etc they ignore all requests. This is one that has genuinely surprised me. It's a garage I was familiar with as a child, it has been in blackrock forever and I genuinely would never have expected this. Just adding this note following their reply .. We are still being completely ignored by them. Both with regard to the car that has been recalled (they won't book it in or respond) and the car they sold us for over 70k that had been crashed. We have tried to book it in for items to be repaired and they just completely ignore us. Their "approved used car" guarantee is absolutely worthless and despite breaking legislation in the way they passed on a car they knew was crashed they still won't resolve the issues. If they change their minds and decide to actually resolve this I will update here but this has been going on since November 2024!

I had an appointment to have the car checked and this is a routine thing but They didn't give me the test report. when I went to receive the car I noticed that my car tire was smashed and very damaged it seems that one of the customers does not have enough experience in driving so he hit the tire with something I met a video when I received the car and told them about this incident and they did not care about the matter and the carpenter named Keith spoke to me and told me we will fix the issue and he did not respond to my calls and messages for a month .. Despite that when my car was finished being checked my car battery died and no longer charged they completely ruined the car they do not have enough experience and they are butchers who only want money and do not care about anything else I advise no one to go there they are idiots
