My wife and I dealt with Tadhg Murphy when we were looking at an ID5. Tadhg was interested in what we wanted and really helped us on the day we went to the showroom. He followed up via email with all of the items that I requested. He was very efficient and more than courteous. I have dealt with numerous sales people but can say that Tadhg is one that I would 100% recommend. I have had various dealings with Blackwater motors through sales enquiries and then services and they have been excellent. Other dealerships could learn a lot about customer service from Blackwater motors.

I am not surprised there are a number of poor reviews here. Beware, the aftercare service is appalling. Worst I have experienced. Purchased a brand new id4 from Blackwater in March 2023. Have already had it back to them with issues twice. The 2nd time it took them almost a week to tow my car in. Despite me being on the phone to them numerous times that week I got a call when the tow company dropped it wondering why it was in! Clear lack of recording issues and communication amongst staff. Had my car for 2.5 weeks. We spent this time constantly chasing updates as they don’t call you and often don’t return calls. I collected my car last week. Asked for a written record of everything that was done. Still waiting for this and a refund from them for the rental car insurance. Would never again buy a car here and definitely wouldn’t recommend.
