I had my yearly car service done today and I am totally disappointed. They offered a complementary car wash and I also requested twice that the car wash to be done. Despite this, they did not do the car wash giving lame excuse of under staffing.

This happened twice with me. It is very unpleasant to see your car delivered without a basic wash after paying a huge amount on servicing. Hope this reaches the right team and they work on better servicing.

I visited this dealership on Saturday 18.01.25 and the service I received was unprofessional and rude. I made an appointment with Neil to view a car and query about a few cars on site and when we arrived to view the car in my opinion this car should have never been shown to a customer in the state that it was in. There was an odour from the inside of the car. The car was filthy inside and outside, you could feel dirt and grime when you touched the steering wheel, the car itself was in poor condition it had not been serviced, the brake pads and brake discs were completely worn, you could hear the timing belt was extremely worn and the tyres were bald. This car was not safe to be out on the road and should have never been released to a customer so we returned promptly with the aim of viewing other cars we had seen outside that were in better condition. Upon our return to the dealership the sales person whom we had an appointment with was now in a meeting with different customers. We stood there with the keys for over 10 minutes while other sales personal and managers stared at us and never once approached us. We ended up having to approach the receptionist for assistance who apologized profusely for the poor service we had received but unfortunately couldn't find some-one to assist us even though there were sales staff with no customers, she explained they had customers out on test drives awaiting their return so they couldn't deal with another customer yet. Clearly this did not apply to us maybe the 25K plus we were spending was not enough for this dealership. We ended up handing the keys back to the receptionist and left. The whole encounter was unprofessional and unpleasant from the start. Terrible customer service from sales person and their managers onsite who clearly watched this unfold. Having dealt with Blackwater Motors Fermoy before, this dealership is nowhere near as professional. Would not recommend dealing with this dealership if their sales service is this poor. I can only imagine what their aftermarket sales service would be like. After now reading reviews for this dealership I am glad I didn't purchase a vehicle from here.

I would give negative stars if it were possible. I drive a 2018 R-Line Automatic Tiguan with a DSG Gearbox. It started giving trouble a few months back with the message "Gear box in Emergency Mode" and I would lose 2,4,6 and reverse gearing. Quoted 2k to fix it by Blackwater after paying €150 for diagnostics ( even though I see in other countries there were recalls for this exact issue). In a VW that's less than 6 years old. This is a disgrace. The whole repair experience with Blackwater from start to finish was nothing short of infuriating. You get better service in McDonalds. They called both me and my husband on different occasions telling us different things. At one points we were told the car was ready and came to collect it. We were handed keys to the wrong car, then told they couldn't actually fix ours and it would now cost somewhere around 4k. When they eventually did fix it and I was due to collect it I asked them could they give it a clean to soften the blow of all the mix ups and inconveniences. When I came to collect, again I was directed to the wrong car and when they eventually brought my car out it was still filthy. There was even a stale smell in it that has not been there when we dropped it off. I wrote to the MD and the service tech, Alan. I didn't even get so much as a response. That is the level of care they give to their customers.  I will never set foot in Blackwater again and won't buy another VW either. if you want reliability and service steer well away.

Definetly will not be a return customer.. Customer service here is shocking. Bought a car back in may and nothing about buying the car was straight forward. I had to come back three times to get to view and purchase.. the first time it wasn't even there even though I had a test drive booked.. Then it was meant to be valeted and ready to go so if I was happy with how it drove I could purchase it there and tben.. It was given a quick wipe on the outside and the interior was beyond filthy so I had to walk away again..

When I eventually got the car then it needed a new key which had to be ordered and it was booked in to be coded for a couple of weeks later... I dropped it off and they didn't have the right key to do it when they phoned me later that day so it had to be booked in for another couple of weeks time...

I was also due a refund of the nct cost as it was due to be tested and was told I would get this refunded as they guarantee it will pass. I've given my bank details to the agent I was dealing with more than 3 times and never saw it..

Along with having to waste my annual leave and the amount of empty promises  they leave you with its a very disappointing and frustrating experience dealing with them.. I had noticed before I bought the car that there were a lot of bad reviews left here but I foolishly thought "they can't be that bad to deal with can they?" but I was sorely mistaken..

I drive a caddy for a taxi 2023 reg . Altenator gone . Went there to get it fixed as its still in warranty . They said it will take atleast a week for inspection then part order and then fixing . So close to Christmas mean that could take months . As a taxi driver i explained my situation that i cant afford to stay off road for that long but they dont care
