Been going to Great Island Motors for years, bought my first car here and it was very reliable even 5 years later. Great value for fuel also, I find it doesn’t burn as fast as other garages in Cobh. Great staff always there to help with any issues I’ve had. Also purchased my brothers first car here recently and it was tax, tested and a full valet and service before collection, it was a quick sale and very convenient and a great deal!

I cannot thank Ray and Garry enough. One year after getting a car from them, they agreed to fix a faulty part at no cost to me. Not only did I get this amazing cover, they also gave me a complimentary car for the whole weeks my car was at their garage and yet again at no cost. They just handed me the keys. As a professional driver, I stopped by at Great Island Motors this morning to get fuel/diesel for my car. I was using the self service pump and opted to use cash. I was putting €15 worth of diesel into my tank. I put a €10 euro not into the machine which it accepted. However upon putting a €5 note in, the machine swallowed it but only allowed me to put €10 diesel into my tank!! I could not retrieve my lost €5 after this.

I know this is a small amount to lose, however on principle alone I would never return to this place again. I sense a scam in one form or another!
